The Chair Verse is one of the readings that can be found in the holy book of the Koran. If you have not been able to read the Chair Verse with Arabic writing, then the reading of the chair verse and its translation can be one of the alternatives to learn.

Unfortunately, some scholars have different opinions and instead encourage Muslims not to read The Latin Chair Verse and other Quranic readings in latin writing. So, why is that?

Scholars fear that a Latin-read reading of the word of God will result in a change in the meaning in it. Therefore, a Muslim also needs to study the Arabic writing in the Koran and not constantly rely on his latin readings. Illustration of the reading of the Arabic chair verse listed in the Koran. Here's an important reading of the Arabic Chair Verse to learn:

As for the meaning or translation of the Chair Verse which reads:

It means: "God, there is no God (who has the right to be worshipped) but he who lives eternally again constantly taking care of (His creatures); not sleepy and not sleeping. His possession is what is in the heavens and on the earth. No one can intercede on God's side without His permission? God knows nothing before them and behind them, and they know nothing from the knowledge of God but what He wants. The seat of God covers the heavens and the earth. And Allah does not feel the weight of keeping both, and Allah is all-high again most great." (QS. Al Baqarah: 255). Illustrations practice the verse of a chair that has various virtues. What is in the content of the Chair Verse? When compared to other verses, the Verse of the Chair is considered more sublime and noble. Because, in the verse of the chair, there are a number of names and attributes of Allah Almighty.

In addition, there are several virtues that can be obtained by Muslims who diligently practice it, including:1. Protected from Satan's Wickedness and Temptations

The virtue of reading the first Verse of the Chair, which is to be kept away from the evil and temptations of the cursed demon. This is as in the historical hadith of Anas bin Malik RA, he said the Messenger of Allah SAW said:

"When a man of my people recites the verse 12 times, and then he abides and performs the dawn prayers, Allah will undoubtedly guard him from the evils of satan and the same degree as the one who reads the entire Quran 3 times, and on the day of judgment he will be given a crown from the light that shines on all the inhabitants of the world."

Another hadith also mentions, from Hasan bin Ali, Prophet Muhammad SAW said which means: "Whoever recites the verse of the chair at the end of each fardhu prayer then he is in the protection of Allah until the next prayer." (HR. Thabrani).2. Protected by God until the Next Prayer

If a person reads the Verse of the Chair after performing the obligatory prayer, then he will be under the protection of Allah Almighty until the next obligatory prayer again. At-Thabrani narrated from Al-Hasan ibn Ali, the Messenger of Allah SAW said:

"Whoever recites the verse of the chair after the obligatory prayer, then he is in the protection of Allah until the next prayer again."

How strong is the protection of Allah Almighty in protecting His people who always have faith in Him. So, whoever wants to get that protection, should read the Verse of the Chair after performing the obligatory prayer service.3. There is No Barrier to Going to Heaven Except Death

The virtue of the next Verse of the Chair, that is, there is nothing to prevent a person who reads it from going to heaven, except death. An Nasa'i, Ibn Hibban and Ath-Thabrani narrated from Abu Umamah, the Messenger of Allah SAW said:

"Whoever recites the verse of the chair after every obligatory prayer, there is nothing preventing him from going to heaven except death."4. As the Head of All Quranic Verses

The Verse of the Chair is referred to as the head of the verses of the Koran. Abu Hurairah said that the Prophet Muhammad SAW had said in this regard which reads:

"In surah Al-Baqarah there is one verse which is the head to all the verses of the Qur'an verse, it is not read that verse in the house which there is a demon in it but it comes out of the house which is the verse of the chair." Jinn interference in humans is a common and natural thing. Satan, one of the jinn people, once feuded with the prophet Adam and had vowed to try to lead all of Adam's children and grandchildren astray. That is why, practicing the verse of the chair is recommended for a Muslim as a form of endeavor, to belong to the class that the devil does not misled.

Shaikhul Islam Ibn Taimiyyah in the book of Al Furqaan says, "If you sincerely read the verse (on events inflicted by demons) correctly, it will undoubtedly disappear. Indeed, tawhid can cast out demons". (Al Furqaan baina Auliyaa'ir Rahmaan wa Auliyaa'isy Syaithaan p. 146). Illustration of reading the chair verse before going to bed.
