Some of the criteria that make a house an Islamic house are as follows:Have adequate space
A house does not have to be large in size but at least it can meet the needs of its residents.
A good house is a house that is arranged in room and at least has a decent space for worship, for example a special room for prayers such as mushalla. There is a transition room
What is meant by a transition room is a space that connects the entrance with the inside of the house.
In Islam, a good house should have that space or what can be known as a lobby.
This is so that guests who enter do not directly face the room in the house and can see the activities of the residents.
So it can be concluded that in building a house, you should not directly connect the entrance with the main room in the house. Maintaining privacy
A Muslim home should have a division of space that can protect the privacy of its residents.
For example, a parent's room that is separated from the room of his children and other family members and also a boy's room that is separated from the girls' room.

A Muslim should avoid the behavior of boasting in building his house because Allah Almighty does not like excessive behavior.
As mentioned in the word of Allah Almighty as follows
"Boasting has neglected you, until you enter into the tomb. do not be so, someday ye shall know (the consequences of your deeds), and do not be so, someday ye shall know. do not be so, if you know with sure knowledge, you will undoubtedly see the hell of Jahiim, and Indeed you will truly see it with 'ainul yaqin. then you will surely be asked that day about the pleasures (which you grandiose in that world)."
